Perl is our beautiful, sweet, gentle, blue Cane Corso! Perl's affectionate, tender ways have won her many admirers both in our family and among our friends. Whether it's laying at the feet of a studying college student, sitting by a new guest in our home, or cuddling by the fire with a sleepy child, Perl thrives on loving and being loved. Perl is a quiet dog, but speaks volumes through her big, brown eyes. She uses them everyday to persuade us to drop everything we're doing to pet her. If she feels ignored, she will gently place her head on your lap and look up at you with those big, sad eyes until your hand touches her silky head.

Obedient and well-behaved, Perl adds a lot of love to our household, not to mention unforgettable memories of her affectionate and sometimes playful behaviors! We have had more than one visitor to our home who said they would love to have her if she ever needs a new home (which she won't!).

Perl loves the warmth of our wood stove. She spends time watching the flames (almost as intently as some folks watch TV!) and her favorite place to sleep is in front of the stove (you've heard of couch potatos; well, Perl is a hearth potato!).

Perl also has her moments of being goofy and playful, especially when her daughter Nola or a person approaches her playfully. It is fun to watch her "galoof!" in the house.
