Hi! Welcome to Tivoli Cane Corsos!
Who We Are
We are a large family (Dad, Mom, 8 children, and a friend who is living with us while going to college) who live in the country in the Hudson River valley of New York state on 9 acres we share with another family of relatives (uncle, aunt, and 8 cousins!). There are lots of young people on this property! Besides our purebred Cane Corsos Perl and Enoch, and Perl's daughter Nola, we have various other animals: horses (for riding), goats (for milk and meat), chickens (for eggs), rabbits, and in the summer, turkeys and pigs. Oh yes, and two cats (Grace and Nigel) and some tropical fish. All of the above animals add to our joy of living in the country and they provide opportunities for the children to develop responsibility and an understanding of life. With lots of socialization with adults and children and the various other animals, the puppies we raise become well adjusted to both humans and critters.
This is our family. Back: Martha, Deyla, Nathan, Emily, and Joanna. Middle: Carl, Bruce, Muriel, Evan. Front: Nola, Sharon, Greta, and Perl.
Why Cane Corsos? And what is a Cane Corso, anyway?
We became interested in raising Cane Corsos after we got Perl and Nola. Cane Corsos are a wonderful breed, very attached to their owners, very sweet dispositioned, and very beautiful (we know of no breed with more color possibilities! blacks, browns, midnight blues, blues (Perl's color), reds, chestnuts, fawns, blondes, and brindling combinations thereof). Another aspect of the Cane Corso that we enjoy very much is the wide range of personality; they are very sensitive to "their people", and each dog has a unique personality of its own (very much like goats, for you goat people out there). It was our enjoyment of Perl and our learning more about Cane Corsos that led to our desire to raise and sell puppies from this wonderful breed that is becoming increasingly popular. We hope that this website will answer any questions you may have about Cane Corsos in general or Tivoli Cane Corsos in particular, and that you will contact us if you are interested in obtaining a puppy or if we can help you in any other way.
